Throughout his distinguished academic career in the United States, he has taught at leading universities, educating undergraduate, MBA, and executive-level students in economic development, finance, international trade, monetary economics, and global business strategy. His teaching and research emphasize the intersection of economic policy, financial markets, international commerce, and sustainable economic growth. He brings more than 10 years of experience leading cross-border ventures across Southeast Asia and the United States.

His expertise spans the complete technology stack — from silicon, firmware, and system architecture to software platforms, AI infrastructure, and hyperscale data center deployment. As the Founder and CEO of TORmem Inc., Thao is pioneering next-generation memory-centric computing and AI infrastructure technologies while building strategic partnerships with leading global ODMs, cloud providers, enterprises, and government organizations.
